Sara Jones

NST, EFT, TTT, Reflexology Practitioner

My interest in health and fitness began many years ago and I have continued to be amazed and fascinated by the human body.

It is my belief that our body’s want to be well – and so given the right tools, the right pieces of ‘the good health jigsaw’, it can invariably serve us well.

Therefore, in my work, I believe in a ‘whole approach’ to health and well being is absolutely essential.

Having been involved in natural medicine since 2000, my clinical practice has certainly evolved into something I believe to be quite unique. In 2004 I opened Kirkbymoorside pain relief clinic, back2health on the Main Street of the town. I have grown the practice since then into something I am incredibly proud of. It has been a place of safety and growth for many and a sanctuary for me to work in. I have had enormous pleasure in working alongside other professionals who have also cared for so many. As of January 2023 back2health changes location to another rather beautiful space in Kirkbymoorside. For location and directions please go to the contact/find page. Over the years I have had the privilege to listen to and learn from some great minds; Dr Michael Nixon Livy (founder of NST, Researcher and Nutritionalist), Dr. Gabor Maté, Trauma specialist, Gunilla Hamne & Ulf Sandström; Peaceful Heart Network, Mr Michael Burgess (Acupuncturist, NST lecturer/practitioner, Dr Will Slann (Osteopath), Martine Moorby (EFT trainer), Claudia Knight (counsellor) and Dr Deborah Lee Consultant Clinical Psychologist.

I have read countless books and articles, researched for hours on end and treated thousands of people and the one thing that I never stop doing, is being amazed and humbled by the people that I treat. Their desire to take responsibility for their own health and to take part in their own healing is truly inspirational.

It is important to really listen to people, to their stories and to try and figure out what piece of their ‘good health jigsaw’ maybe missing. Treatments involve a combination of modalities and more often than not people leave with a little bit of homework (nutritional changes, lifestyle adaptations, stretches and exercises) but most of all hope and the feeling that they have been cared for individually.
